We believe in providing our customers with invaluable time through this space. Staff who were born in Kyoto and have a deep love for the city have come together to create this space with the desire to protect the city that is gradually being lost. Japan's unique and beautiful culture and aesthetic have captivated people around the world for years. Many artists have been born and fallen in love with Kyoto. Despite there still being Kyoto-like buildings in the city center, unfortunately, development has been progressing, leading to the gradual loss of the old, charming Kyoto streetscape. Our initial goal in creating this space was to offer accommodation and wonderful experiences to overseas and Japanese customers who wish to protect this streetscape. The surroundings of KINO SPACE KYOTO are shared with local Japanese families. Unlike regular hotels, there are rules to be observed with the residents of Kyoto, which we will explain to our customers. Kyoto's culture has been preserved through the manners of the Kyoto residents. Why not feel the spirit of the people of Kyoto by staying at KINO SPACE KYOTO? Have you ever experienced the ultimate Village Stay? For those who are eager to learn about Japanese culture or have a keen interest, we occasionally offer cultural courses led by staff with educational experience, such as university professors, to introduce Kyoto's unique culture. Preserving and maintaining historic buildings is a challenging task. Nonetheless, KINO wishes to protect this land where the essence of the people who lived in the past still lingers. It is easy to demolish buildings. However, once a historic building is destroyed, it will never return. KINO is committed to the preservation of historic buildings facing challenges worldwide in historical preservation efforts.
