Thank you very much for participating in our special art event, “Rooftile Painting” Workshop & “Talanoa” Talk-Story. It was a warm and memorable gathering. Participants enjoyed expressing themselves through art and engaging in meaningful conversations. Each hand-painted roof tile became a reflection of personal stories and shared creativity. The relaxed atmosphere made the experience truly special.

After the workshop, the “Talanoa” session offered a thoughtful space for open dialogue. This deepened our connection with local culture and each other.

Our Commitment as a Hotel

This event was held in collaboration with Blueway Institute, a non-profit organization dedicated to sustainable community development. They value the environment, local culture, and people. Based in Kyoto, Blueway Institute approaches environmental challenges from a local perspective. They foster connections between people and culture.

As KINOSPACE, a hotel located near the historic Kitano Tenmangu Shrine and the traditional district of Kamishichiken, we respect the history and culture of this area. We will continue to work closely with the community moving forward.
